The gap
We expect people to show up ready. Most arrive without the tools.
We expect people to collaborate, communicate, handle feedback, and navigate conflict from day one. While most have never been taught how.
They arrive technically capable, often highly motivated. And quickly run into situations that require skills no one has named, let alone developed. The feedback conversation that turns into a standoff. The expectation that was never said aloud. The tension that sits in the room for weeks because no one knows how to address it without making it worse.
This is not a mindset issue. It is a training gap.
